COR Professional Learning Framework
In this session, education professionals will continue to learn about lateral reading and click restraint—skills professional fact checkers use to make accurate online evaluations—and anticipate opportunities and challenges to teaching this new approach to students.
We encourage professional learning communities, such as departments, curriculum teams, or committees, to use this resource and have included suggestions for how to structure the session. Groups should modify the materials to best suit their needs and interests.
The classroom simulation activities are designed to be used sequentially, starting with Session 1 and ending with Session 4. For those looking to do just one session, we recommend Session 1 or 3.
